Justin Rothshank Ceramics are thrown and glazed in Goshen, Indiana. Using an electric potters wheel on a stand, Justin throws each piece from a standing position. Most pieces are made from a red earthenware clay and finished with a glossy white glaze.

After the initial glaze firing, each piece is decorated with custom-made ceramic decals designed by Justin. Ehen the decals dry the pieces are fired again. Next, color decals are applied and the piece is again fired. Sometimes the pieces are fired 5, 6, or 7 times to get accurate color depth and decoration.
